Food watchdog warns of glass splinters in baby food Bonbébé | NOW

The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) warns people not to give two flavors of Bonbébé baby food to their babies. The flavors organic pasta tomato mozzarella and organic menu beef stew may contain small glass splinters.

The jars in question have barcodes 871062435326 and 8710624353483. Their expiration date is April 7, 2024.

Supermarkets such as Boni, Boon’s Markt, Coop, DekaMarkt, Dirk, Hoogvliet, Jan Linders, MCD, Plus, Poiesz, Spar and Vomar sell the baby food jars.

Bonbébé cannot yet say how many suspicious jars are involved in total. It is also not yet known in how many jars the company found glass.

The organic baby food manufacturer also recalled a product in November because it could contain plastic. Then it was about the organic snack apple peach banana.
