Good news is available for food smokers: during the spring and early summer of 2022, several food festivals will be held in Helsinki.

Helsinki Drink Festival
The chain of food and beverage events will start on March 18, when the Helsinki Drink Festival, which is being held for the fourth time, opens its doors.
The festivals are open to workshops (from 8 e), where guests can prepare drinks under the guidance of professionals. Reservations are recommended in advance.
The Helsinki Drink Festival serves a huge variety of drinks, but this year’s event in Pikku-Suomiia is increasingly also a food event. Doses are handled by The Bull & The Firm, Yeastie Boi and Paisano.
The event will feature, among other things Leo Stillman and Elias Gould.

Helsinki Coffee Festival & Ice Cream and Chocolate Carnival
The Helsinki Coffee Festival and the Ice Cream and Chocolate Carnival will be held at the same time this year, so the same ticket promises both delicious coffees and chocolate and ice cream.
The coffee festivals will select the filter coffee, espresso and tea of 2022, as well as the best roastery in Finland and the coffee influencer of the year. At the carnival, the ice cream of the year and the chocolate of the year are chosen.
The event will involve both large and small companies in the coffee and tea, ice cream and chocolate sectors. Visitors will be able to test different coffee machines, and tips on making different coffees are promised.
There will be more than 70 booths. 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the event.

Gastro Helsinki
The Gastro trade fair at the exhibition center is intended for professionals in the field of horeca. The fair presents the latest flavors and trends in the industry, and this year, for the first time, people under the age of 18 will also be able to participate.
The Finnish chef’s national team will be seen at the fair, which will open a pop-up restaurant together with the Icelandic national chef’s national team.

Burger Lovers Festival
The burgers will smell power in Rautatientori in June, when the third Burger Lovers Festival, which attracted more than 40,000 visitors last summer, will kick off.
The festival brings together burger masters from all over Finland, and for the first time a foreign guest is also present: Bastard Burgers from Sweden.
The selection of burgers for the event includes burgers of different styles and made with different techniques, and options will also be available for vegetarians.
In the evenings, concerts are also enjoyed at the festivals. Saint will take the stage on Friday, Scandinavian Music Group on Thursday and Teflon Brothers on Friday. Saturday’s performer will be announced later.
