On Sunday morning, at a quarter to ten sharp, the two chimneys of the old power station in Harelbeke will be demolished. The two towers are each 72 meters high and will be blown up with explosives. There will be a safety perimeter of 200 meters around the site, and shipping traffic on De Leie will also be halted for a while.
