Tens of thousands of people are running the Dam tot Damloop again today and if we are to believe the weather forecasts, it will not be a glorious day this year. NH will report live from 10 a.m. on the runners running from Amsterdam to Zaandam.
Due to the expected high temperatures, the organization previously warned participants to slow down the running pace, drink enough and pay close attention. Supporters were also called on to act quickly and actively if runners report symptoms of overheating.
This warning now seems no longer necessary because it will rain earlier than expected. The mercury will probably remain around 21 degrees today. The wind is blowing weak to moderate from the northeast to east today.
