The Fokker factories in Helmond and Hoogerheide will close. Parent company GKN Aerospace wants to accommodate the activities of the two factories at their current location in Papendrecht. Basically, no jobs will be lost, but the question is whether the current staff of the locations to be closed is actually waiting for such a move. Staff were informed about the plans on Friday.
