The ongoing feud between sportswear giants Nike and Adidas over sneaker-knit technology appears to be settled for now. The companies have notified the US District Court for the State of Oregon that they have entered into a private settlement.

The lawsuit settled related to Nike accusing the German counterparty of patent infringement for its Flyknit technology last December, since Adidas had released its Primeknit sneakers less than six months after Nike’s launch. Both product types feature a knitted upper, which was new at the time. Reuters reports that the lawsuit has been settled, but terms have not been disclosed.

However, the legal dispute is only one of several that the two companies are pursuing. In June, Adidas filed a lawsuit against Nike in a Texas court alleging violation of its Run Club and Training Club training apps by Nike’s SNKRS app.

In 2020, Adidas lost a lawsuit against two of Nike’s Flyknit patents in a US appeals court.
