Barely a month after the last flight departed from Schiphol, Air India is bringing good news to travelers who want to fly to and from Delhi soon. From December 17, four flights a week to India are again scheduled.
Air India returned to Schiphol last summer after 26 years. Due to a lack of slots, this line connection came to an end after five months. Slots have now been added because flights in Israel, Beirut and Jordan are canceled due to the tensions and conflicts in these countries.
Back sooner than expected
Air India will therefore return faster than expected. The airline will fly four times a week from Sunday, December 17: on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Just like last summer, Air India flies with a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which can accommodate eighteen passengers in Business Class and 238 passengers in Economy Class.
It is still unclear whether Air India will also be allowed to fly to Schiphol next summer.
