Grid operator Fluvius will invest an additional 4 billion euros in the electricity network in Flanders over the next 10 years, to make it future-proof with the arrival of more and more electric cars and heat pumps. The investment comes on top of the regular investments of 7 billion euros and will result in an additional cost on the bill of 25 euros per year for an average family.
