In the afternoon the boy walked with a friend to the fair on the Jan Weugkade. They then left with a group of young people, possibly after an argument had taken place. On the Vrijgang, the teenager came face to face with three boys. One of them had a firearm in his hand. The boy tried to run away, but was shot at during this escape attempt. He was hit in the leg.
A little further on, he was able to call for help, but the gunman had fled. It is not clear why the teenager was shot. Therefore, the police are looking for people who know more about this incident.
