Fluffy pancakes and poffertjes: this place is new in the Stadshart

Guys, there’s another new business in our town that will leave you licking your fingers. At The Pancake Factory you don’t eat regular pancakes, no, French, American and Japanese variants. And they smell good!

For months we have been missing the delicious smell of freshly baked stroopwafels at Van Schaik. The business is closed and the building was empty for some time. But the stroopwafel smell has been replaced by the smell of pancakes and poffertjes. Freshly baked and with all kinds of toppings.

Fluffy pancakes

The new trend of fluffy pancakes has come over from Japan. These are very airy pancakes that resemble a soufflé. They are made from fresh batter on a baking tray, after which you can choose from various toppings. This can be caramel sauce, chocolate, candies and other sweets. The baker also bakes wafer-thin French crêpes, American pancakes and poffertjes.

Also unique in Zoetermeer: ​​at The Pancake Factory you can also enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. Via a QR code you upload a photo of yourself, your pet or whatever. The photo is sent directly to The Pancake Factory’s printer and printed on a cardboard cup in which you receive your hot drink. A nice collector’s item and so don’t throw it away!
