The 2014 soccer world champion established his eponymous foundation in 2007. The project aims to promote social participation and equal opportunities for children and young people.
The ‘New Generation’ sneaker comes in three color variants: light blue, yellow or grey. The upper is a combination of suede with mesh details. The women’s model has a size range from 35 to 43 and is rounded off by a leather patch with Šašić’s initials. The men’s shoes range from size 38 to 48 and are available with either the initials of Lahm or van Bommel.
“Through football and sport in general, children and young people learn to take responsibility, team spirit, fair play and that it is important to follow the rules. New perspectives are shown and children learn to understand that education is the way to a better future. I think it’s great to work with Floris, who shares the same values in a different sphere. This cooperation enables us to jointly implement important social issues with concentrated power and concrete measures to promote equal opportunities, diversity and integration,” says Šašić about the project.
The price for the women’s shoe is 230 euros, the men’s model is available for 240 euros. The sneakers will be available from February 2024 in Floris van Bommel stores, in the brand’s online shop and at selected retailers.
