Floricienta phenomenon: the success of the nostalgic revival

When Florence Bertotti announced that he would perform a musical show in Argentina, the tickets evaporated. Behind Bertotti’s presentation, the fans’ main wish is to meet again with “Floricienta”, the role that the actress played in the successful children’s and youth series that aired twenty years ago and that continues to be rooted in the nostalgic taste of her followers. Thus, even though in the shows she will appear under her name, Bertotti will be in charge of reviving her most famous character for a while.

On that basis, the appearance of Emilia Mernes in the program “Días y flores” that Bertotti hosts on FM Vale became the definitive push to unleash the revival of “Floricienta” again. The singer, who covered the hit of the series, “Vestido azul”, sang almost the entire repertoire of the program along with the actress, and fans turned out en masse to request a show.

After this, came confirmation of what in principle would be a single Bertotti recital with ticket prices ranging from 18 thousand to 60 thousand pesos. But the desire for “Floricienta” led to more. After tickets flew out in a matter of minutes, it was decided to add four more performances, which also sold out in a short time. While Bertotti makes use of the success that the role he played two decades ago still generates today, his former colleagues do not want anything to do with the nostalgic revival.
