Florian König fails for “double pass” – TV presenter has Corona

Spontaneous rescheduling for “Doppelpass”: The popular football format on Sport 1 has to do without moderator Florian König on Sunday. An old acquaintance, Rudi Brückner, steps in for this.

The TV broadcaster Sport1 has to make a short-term reshuffle in the position of moderator for the football talk “Doppelpass” on Sunday morning. Since Florian König failed due to a positive corona test, the long-standing Doppelpass moderator Rudi Brückner stepped in again.

This had already represented König for a few weeks. The corona test, which was probably carried out shortly before the start of the program and then turned out positive, caused a brief hectic rush at the station. Sport1 editor-in-chief Pit Gottschalk tweeted: “There has been a lot of excitement in front of the dopa for two hours. An explanation will follow soon.” Florian König has also commented in the meantime, writing on the social network: “Ill or positive without symptoms. That’s how it can work. It’s bitter for me, but the colleagues still deliver you a strong show.”

Oliver Kahn as a guest

Star guest on Easter Sunday is the CEO of Bayern Munich, Oliver Kahn. Before the away game on Sunday at Arminia Bielefeld (3.30 p.m. in the t-online live ticker), he asked questions about the surprising end of the Champions League last Tuesday against Villarreal.

König had tweeted on Saturday evening how much he was looking forward to the star guest. Now he has to recover from his illness.
