Flooring Days brings global floor covering companies to region

The nine West and East Flemish floor covering companies, including Balta, Beaulieu International Group, Lano and IVC, are opening their showroom this week. It is therefore not a trade fair in one place, although Kortrijk Xpo is the operating base for a number of events and meetings in the margins, such as the closing dinner and networking moment on Wednesday evening.

Meet again physically

Industry representatives from 55 countries are in our region, so they can visit all participating companies in four days. “We are taking back control of our contacts within the sector, after the corona crisis,” say the floor covering companies. “Representatives from all over the world can finally get to know our products physically again.

Largest employer

The Flooring Days are therefore not a traditional trade fair, but the companies do not rule out the possibility that they will again participate in such trade fairs. “Together we have more than 8,000 employees, making it the largest employer in the area,” say the organizers.
