Due to flooding, a lane and hard shoulder on the A59 near Maaspoort were closed on Monday afternoon. Traffic in the direction of Den Bosch to Empel has to take delays into account.
The fire service is busy pumping out the water on the highway. In addition to the Den Bosch fire brigade, colleagues from Rosmalen also came to the rescue.
A short traffic jam has arisen on the A59 in an easterly direction with stationary and sometimes slow-moving traffic. It is not known how long it will take before the entire highway will be reopened.
