After two days of industrial action at various locks, Flemish Minister of the Interior and Administrative Affairs Gwendolyn Rutten (Open Vld) and ACV Public Services have agreed on the reform of the civil servant statute, Rutten’s cabinet reports. During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, white smoke finally appeared, or at least as far as the ACV is concerned. The Flemish government calls on the other trade unions, VSOA and ACOD, to join the current agreement.
