Fler would like to make a film about the Berlin graffiti scene

In a current live stream from moderator Rooz, Fler answers a few questions about rapper Rosa, Shindy and his upcoming film. He spoke about Specter Berlin’s role in the project and also mentioned how difficult it was to find a screenwriter.

Fler really wanted to make his own film and wrote the story himself. But finding a suitable screenwriter was not that easy. He says: “Most of the time it actually took us right now was looking for a screenwriter. So that you don’t make just any film that then goes wrong like most German films that don’t deal with street issues, you need a director and a screenwriter who is good at his job.”

The film script is currently being written. Fler came up with the storyline himself and is supposed to be about guys from the graffiti scene who slip into criminal circles. The whole story is said to take place in the 90s and 2000s and in Berlin. A start of shooting is not yet known.
