The Flemish training leave (VOV), which allows employees to combine their job with training, is on the rise. In two years time, the number of employees reached has increased by 9 percent. The number of hours of training leave requested went from 4.5 to 5.8 million, an increase of 27 percent. This is evident from figures published by Flemish Minister of Work Jo Brouns (CD&V).
