The windows of Sonja’s house have special shutters to protect them from the hurricane force. Still, it remains to be seen, because Hurricane Ian could be the strongest hurricane Florida has ever experienced. “We’re going to go upstairs in the bathroom, away from all windows so that nothing can happen,” said Sonja.
