The number of switches is declining now that energy prices have fallen. Last year, 527,000 households changed electricity suppliers. That is a decrease of 14.3 percent compared to 2022. For natural gas, there were almost 20 percent fewer switches and almost 400,000 families switched to another supplier.
The number of supplier changes also fell by more than 20 percent for both electricity and gas among smaller business customers, such as self-employed people and small companies, last year.
