The Flemish Parliament has today approved the announced reform of the board of directors of the VRT. The reform paves the way for the appointment of four independent directors to the board of directors and thus for a partial depoliticization of that board. The decree also contains a number of reforms that, according to Media Minister Benjamin Dalle, should contribute to the good governance of public broadcasting.
