Flemish government scraps mandatory heating audit for central heating boilers

The Flemish government is abolishing the mandatory heating audit for central heating systems. This audit, which examines, among other things, the production efficiency of the boiler, was mandatory periodically, depending on the power of the installation and the fuel used. According to Minister of Energy Zuhal Demir (N-VA), the mandatory audit is being abolished because there are now “more contemporary instruments to make building heating more sustainable”.
