Flemish government parties cautiously positive about Rousseau’s ‘basic job’: “Glad that Vooruit is following our line”

Vooruit chairman Conner Rousseau launched a striking new proposal on the eve of May 1 to tackle long-term unemployment. Those who have been unemployed for more than two years should accept a ‘basic job’, otherwise they will lose their benefits. The Flemish government parties are cautiously reacting positively to the proposal.
