In 2022, Flanders will have exported 479.7 billion euros worth of goods. That is an increase of 26 percent compared to 2021, according to figures from Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT). The increase was mainly driven by high world prices. However, growth has slowed since the last quarter of last year due to declining energy and flattening commodity prices.
