The Bureau of the Flemish Parliament has decided that the Flemish flag may remain on the chairman’s podium. Last week, another riot broke out when vice-chairman Filip Dewinter (Vlaams Belang), without consultation, had placed the flag next to him. “Consider this the most important achievement in my career”, says Dewinter with a laugh.
