Flemish breast cancer patients have an increasing chance of survival

The treatment of patients with breast cancer in Flanders is showing increasingly better results. For example, the survival rate has risen about 3 percent in recent years. Specialization appears to be important in this respect. That is why Flemish Minister of Welfare Hilde Crevits (CD&V) intends to withdraw the recognition of clinics with too few patients, writes De Standaard.
