Fled Ukraine, now mother and daughters are colleagues at KFC: ‘Better than sitting at home and crying’ | Work

For the first time in the history of the KFC branch, almost an entire family is working together. In a normal situation, that would not happen so quickly. Were it not that there is a war raging in Ukraine. Alina Yahelska (25) worked as a photographer in Dnipro and her 16-year-old sister Veronika Harbuz hopes to study psychology at university as soon as possible. Before the war, mother Natalia Harbuz (52) worked daily as head of international relations at a well-known accountancy firm. Now they are colleagues at the KFC.
