Fenerbahçe Club General Secretary Burak Çağlan Kızılhan made statements about the football public and the agenda of the yellow-dark blue club.
Speaking to Milliyet, Burak Kızılhan stated that they are taking firm steps towards the championship this year, with the quality squad they have established and the solidarity of the yellow-dark blue community.
The General Secretary of the yellow-dark blue club shared in detail how the perception was created and said, “They have always done organized evil until now. If it is a lie, if it is a perception, if it is a perception, if it is manipulation, it is manipulation. We have explained it before. They have a tactic. First, they come up with trolls and create the perception they want to create.” They circulate it on social media. Then, they engage their representatives in the traditional media and create a certain agenda. Then, if the issue they raise is successful, they personally intervene through official channels. They see that they are not getting the effect they expected, they implement the policy of ‘Throw mud, leave a trace’. What I said is who did this and how? “The entire sports public knows this,” he said.
Referring to the statements made recently by Galatasaray Vice President Erden Timur, “Some things have started to be done to disperse our unity and concentration. What more will be done. We will not stoop to bad and unethical methods”, Burak Kızılhan made the following evaluation:
“Mr. Erdem Timur says in his statement, ‘We will not stoop to bad and unethical methods.’ This statement is actually a secret confession that they have used such bad and unethical methods before. As you know, they create a perception at the beginning of each season and call it the Fenerbahçe season. This is sometimes called ‘Zorlu Season’, sometimes it is ‘Rıdvan Dilmen Season’, last season it was ‘Lale Mid Season’.
Every season, together with some of their representatives in the media, they create the perception that they will make Fenerbahçe champions. Please take a look at the last 10 years. Who is the club that is most negatively affected by the referees and their decisions, and who benefits the most? Every year they try to make the public say, “They will make Fenerbahçe champions this season.”
At this point, it is useful to remind that; How is it that the exorbitant referee mistakes that have been talked about for years and never forgotten in Turkish football are always mistakes that are in favor of this community? We think they haven’t determined the motto of this season yet, let’s see what they will name this season. “We haven’t seen a release yet, we’re looking forward to it.”
“THEY TRIED TO CREATE THE PERCEPTION OF UNHAPPY”
Reminding that Fenerbahçe has made transfer sales to Europe’s 5 biggest leagues for record amounts in recent years, Burak Kızılhan emphasized that a completely different perception was created. Noting that there is a perception that the players left Fenerbahçe because they are unhappy, Kızılhan said, “We see a hatred for Fenerbahçe here. Because of this hatred, they create perceptions at the expense of being in funny situations. They spread this to the general public.”
“NO ONE COMES OUT AND SAYS WHAT IS HAPPENING”

Burak Kızılhan used the following words: “Why does the Turkish Football Federation exist? Is it just to appoint referees for matches or organize league matches? Especially after Abdurrahman Arıcı’s statements, TFF should have done a study on what is going on here, but the opposite is Abdurrahman Arıcı.” He was sentenced to deprivation of rights and was asked to resign his position as a federation delegate. Those who made the allegations should have been summoned to the Ethics Committee. On the other hand, if such allegations were brought to the agenda in any country in the world, there would be an uproar. What is the duty of the TFF? It is to prevent the shady people. But what did they do here? “They didn’t do anything. Nobody comes out and says what will happen. But it is very interesting, for some reason and somehow, when we look at the big picture, there is only one club that benefits from these.”
“WE CANNOT JUST SIT SILENT”
Kızılhan said that they will not allow perceptions this season. “If the TFF and the referees get caught up in the artificial agenda of social media and are psychologically affected in their on-field decisions, we will not just sit silently,” he said.
General Secretary Burak Kızılhan stated that they were the team most affected by the referee mistakes in the first weeks.
On the other hand, referring to Mr. Dursun Özbek, who made a statement after the Galatasaray-Trabzonspor match played in the second week, Kızılhan used the following statements:
“Mr. Dursun Özbek made traditional statements at the beginning of the season, although there were positions for and against. But let’s take a look at our matches. Our penalty in the Gaziantep match in the first week, which was first given and then canceled by VAR. Okay, we said gray position. We also got used to gray positions. Gray We always count the positions against us. But let’s look at our goal that was canceled in Samsunspor’s away match. There is a rule, you know. On the other hand, Mr. Dursun Özbek said, “I have never seen such poor referee management”, although there were favorable and unfavorable positions in the second week. This year, we will approach both victim literature and social media perceptions, which have become traditional every year, in a very different way. We also have a message for TFF and referees; If they get caught up in the artificial agenda of social media and psychologically affect your on-field decisions, we will not just sit silently. Our community should be alert against all these perceptions and stand by Fenerbahçe. “Unless we allow them, you will see that nothing will happen the way they want this season.”
