“There are football players who are very popular on the field. We say that if they play, this team will score goals and become champions. We expect young people to be such characters. First of all, I want them to give hope to the fans.”
– There is a risk that Beşiktaş will not be able to participate in the European cups. Does not being in Europe spoil your plans economically?
“It will mess up a bit. We were the last to go to the Champions League and collect the most money. We are not in a very good situation because of the country points. We entered the groups directly last year. That’s why we were the last to find the best conditions that could happen. We won the championship last year. It was very important.”
