Fenerbahce Club reacted to the penalty given due to the field events in the Ziraat Turkish Cup Final match.
In the statement made by the yellow-dark blue club on the subject, “Our club was referred to the Disciplinary Committee in the Ziraat Turkish Cup final match, where our football team played against Medipol Başakşehir on June 11, 2023.
PFDK has decided that ‘Fenerbahçe will be penalized with a fine of 84 thousand TL due to field incidents caused by its supporters, and our club will be penalized with 84 thousand TL and 237 thousand 500 TL because the stairwells are not left empty.’
In the final organization organized by the Turkish Football Federation and all processes (security-operation-tribune organizations) managed by the TFF, it is a completely unreasonable arbitrary decision to punish our club by attributing responsibility. We have once again witnessed the fact that the TFF and its related institutions, which ignore bad words and cheers in the matches of our opponents and do not allow any penalty, make illogical and arbitrary decisions when it comes to Fenerbahçe.
We would like to emphasize that the relevant institution of the TFF should immediately reverse these illogical decisions,” the statement said.
