Flanders wants to improve water quality with investments in sewers

Flemish Environment Minister Zuhal Demir (N-VA) is investing 122 million euros in 183 sewerage projects. This should ensure that the water quality in Flanders improves as quickly as possible. “Today, too much domestic wastewater still flows into our waterways, with all the consequences for water quality and our environment. That is why Flanders is also investing heavily this year to boost the purification level of the waste water,” says Demir.
