Flanders wants the European Commission to postpone discussion about CO2 targets for 2040 until “the time is right”

The Flemish government has asked the European Commission to suspend the discussion about the CO2 reduction targets by 2040. This is reported by the Flemish Minister of Energy and Environment Zuhal Demir. The minister asks to focus for the time being “on the amount of work that is currently on the shelf to fulfill previous commitments”.
