If it were up to the Flemish government, 1,723 students would be admitted to the Medicine course and 252 to the Dentistry course next academic year, 50 and 70 percent more respectively than at the start of this Flemish government in 2019. “It is now up to the federal minister of Social Affairs and Public Health Frank Vandenbroucke to include the quota in a Royal Decree,” say Flemish Minister of Education Ben Weyts (N-VA) and Flemish Minister of Welfare Hilde Crevits (CD&V).
