The flames came out of two sheds on the Machineweg in Nederhorst den Berg this morning. One of the buildings was destroyed, no injuries were reported.
The fire was reported to the emergency services just after 5 a.m. A spokesperson for the safety region tells NH that the burned building was an ‘almost empty’ barn.
“It involved two barns that were next to each other, near a farm. One burned down completely, the other was preserved,” the spokesperson said.
The farm was spared, but it is not known how the fire started. No one was injured.
