A car burned out in a parking lot at the Grote Rietplas in Emmen last night. The fire was noticed around 2 a.m. by a passerby walking his dog.
When the fire brigade arrived at the car, the vehicle was already on fire. The fire brigade was unable to prevent the car from completely burning out.
Arson is being taken into account, although a police investigation has yet to reveal this.
