German U21 national team captain Yann Aurel Bisseck is moving to Champions League finalists Inter Milan.
This was announced by the top Italian football club on Wednesday evening. The 22-year-old central defender comes to Inter from the Danish first division club Aarhus GF and has signed a contract until 2028. The transfer fee is said to be around seven million euros.
Bisseck, who played three games in the Bundesliga for his youth club 1. FC Köln in 2017, had already landed at the airport in the Italian metropolis last Monday. He was “very happy to be here,” the native of Cologne was quoted as saying by the journalists present.
With this, Inter is further upgrading for the coming season in Serie A. The club had previously signed ex-Gladbacher Marcus Thuram on a free transfer, and goalkeeper Yann Sommer from record champions Bayern Munich is also on Inter’s shopping list, according to media reports.
