Hertha BSC has a new six! The Berliners signed the Croatian midfielder Ivan Sunjic from the English second division club Birmingham City.

The 25-year-old is on loan from the capital club for one season, with a subsequent purchase option anchored in the contract, as Hertha announced on Tuesday.

“Ivan is an aggressive ball conqueror in the central defensive midfield, who with his mentality and his qualities fits perfectly with our way of playing football,” said Hertha’s sporting director Fredi Bobic.
