The Barcelona metro line L3 He is experiencing a complicated Tuesday morning, coinciding with the Bicing strike that starts this same day. A fault has cut the green line in the middle of rush hour and has left five central stations without service.
Specifically, the cut affects the section of stops between Passeig de Gràcia and Vall d’Hebron. So the buses do not stop at Diagonal, Fontana, Lesseps, Vallcarca and Penitents.

The cause of the interruption would be the fall of the catenary between Lesseps and Vall d’Hebron. As TMB sources have informed ACN, a convoy with passengers was stopped early in the morning between these two stations. The travelers were able to leave without problems, but the train is still stopped on the tracks. Initially, traffic has been cut off only between Lesseps and Vall d’Hebron, so the Vallcarca and Penitents stations have been affected. Shortly after, the service management company has expanded the cut to be able to remove the convoy from the tracks.
