At the registration center in Ter Apel, five people became unwell this morning after someone had sprayed an unknown liquid around. The police are looking for the suspect and are investigating the registration center.
A police spokesperson reports RTV North that the unknown liquid was sprayed through the gates of the application center.
The five victims were treated by paramedics and did not require hospitalisation. They are approachable. It concerns two employees of the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA), two security guards and one resident of the asylum seekers’ center.
