The zoo raised the alarm when live surveillance footage showed a male lion and four cubs suddenly standing outside the enclosure. The lions were outside their pen, but still separated from the rest of the zoo by a 6-foot fence.
A visitor tells local media how zoo employees raised the alarm. “They ran into the lions’ visiting area and said, ‘This is Code Oneyou must run now and leave your belongings behind.”
