At the beginning of the afternoon two cars collided with each other on the Nijstad in Hoogeveen. Five people were injured, three adults and two children.
They were taken to hospital with unknown injuries. It is still unknown how the accident could have happened.
The damage to both cars is extensive. A salvor has towed the vehicles away.
