Five indoor plants that are hardy and easy to care for

“The most common mistake that we usually make when caring for indoor plants is watering and not knowing that each plant, depending on its location, behaves and needs different care,” the botanical influencer had detailed. Clara Redondo to the ABC Spain styles portal and added: “The ideal is to know when a plant needs to be watered and do it only at that moment. There are plants that require watering once a week, others two, and others that you may not have to water more than twice a month.”

Generally speaking, most of the plants used in interior decoration are tropical, and as a general rule, in terms of temperature, they have a temperature above 15 degrees. As for humidity, in this type of plants it should be above sixty percent, although they can adapt to ranges of forty percent if special attention is paid to adequate watering, according to specialists. The trend of using decorative plants is increasing, but several details must be taken into account.

“As a general tip, I always recommend that plants live near windows. If they are about four meters away from it, for example, it is usually too far. But that will also depend on the size of the opening and the orientation of the home. The pots always fit better and increase the size when they need more space to grow and not before,” explained the Spanish influencer. In that sense, the key is to choose well which plants to put inside the house or in the workspace.
