Five caravans stolen from camping Decuyper
The thieves adhered to a strict schedule: the caravans were always driven out in pairs and taken to a nearby shed/parking lot. Moreover, there was always the same time between leaving and coming back. “The 4 fendts were driven away towards Desomer-Plancke. The hobby towards industry via Beneluxlaan,” the Facebook message continues.
Not the first time
Unfortunately, this is not the first time for Decuyper camping, because the company has had enough thieves to contend with. In 2017, manager Bart Decuyper asked for barriers around the industrial estate in Poperinge and he also placed concrete blocks himself, but the thieves always found a way through the protection.
British cars
The message also states that the perpetrators were driving cars with British number plates. A car type Fiat Ducato/Peugeot Boxer with roof rack and a car type BMW x3/x5. The company urges to share the message en masse to find the perpetrators as quickly as possible.
