Fiumicino, 9-year-old boy escapes attempted kidnapping: hunt for 50-year-old

A man of around 50 is wanted by the Fiumicino police on charges of having tried to kidnap a nine-year-old boy.

The episode dates back to yesterday morning, Saturday 22 April, in via Arsia in Fiumicino. According to what has been learned so far, a man of about 50 entered the garden of the house where the child was playing and, after having picked up the child, she tried to carry him to her car, parked outside. The baby, however, he wriggled out kicking the 50-year-old and started screaming, causing the man to flee who then climbed back into the car. The child’s mother then immediately intervened and alerted 112. Apart from the great scare, the little boy survived the kidnapping attempt unscathed.
