Sector wants compensation for high fuel price
Den Helder – Fishermen will keep their cutters on the quay en masse next week. Due to the high fuel prices, it is financially impossible for them to set sail. Without rapid government measures to support Dutch fisheries, a large part of the sector says it will no longer be able to keep its head above water.
