Fish Club – exceptional

The Fish Club imports sustainably caught fish directly from France. For a long time, the extra fresh goods were available at their sales stands in Markthalle Neun and in the Wilma shopping center. There were also small dishes and they were fabulous.

The stands are no longer there – now the operator is opening a pop-up restaurant on Paul-Linke-Ufer. The summer residence is now in the nice corner bar “Lütt”. And on the menu are fish and seafood that are not usually served in Berlin, such as Japanese giant crabs, rays or sea cuckoo.

We’ll start right away with a round of oysters, the varieties Gillardeau, Celine, Odette and Boudeuse will be served with a great rhubarb migonette. Six pieces cost 27 euros.

Then I have the hake in delicate tempura batter on brioche with chilli mayo for 12 euros – wonderful. I also like fish köfte with radish tsatsiki and onions (25 euros).

We also drink great natural wines. As a sweet conclusion, we share “meringue, pudding, strawberries and sumac” – a sweet, very exciting, extraordinarily delicious dessert due to the lemony, slight spiciness of the sumac.

Until the end of summer in the “Lütt”. Tuesday to Saturday 5:30 p.m. to midnight. Paul-Linke-Ufer 22, Kreuzberg. Reserve online.
