Leicester City have signed reinforcements for the defensive flanks in the fight to stay in the Premier League. Woyo Coulibaly, who can be used on both the right and left and has a strong desire to move forward, comes from Parma Calcio from Serie A for around 3 million euros.
The Frenchman, who has been playing for the Italians since 2021 and helped them return to the top flight in the summer, has signed with the Foxes until 2029. The transfer brings Leicester’s spending on new players this season closer to the €100 million mark. The newcomer has spent 83.2 million on transfers so far, with other additions like the former Schalke player Haji Wright (26, Coventry) are traded (for an overview of all Leicester transfers).
