In the basketball Euroleague, Alba Berlin celebrated another success after three defeats in a row on Wednesday evening: The capital club won its home game in the arena at Ostbahnhof against AS Monaco with 92:84 (40:30).
Ben Lammers best thrower in Berlin with 18 points
Alba initially found it difficult to get into the game in front of 2,000 spectators and was quickly down 7-0 against the French coached by ex-Alba coach Sasa Obradovic. But the Berliners increased, in the third quarter they were even ahead with 13 points.
Monaco came up again, but Alba brought home the victory. The best thrower from Berlin was Ben Lammers with 18 points. After the sixth win in the 17th game, Alba remains in the bottom third of the table.
