First pile foundation of new Picanol building in the ground
As is known, Picanol is building a new head office, in the form of a shuttle. A link to her activities, because they build weaving machines in Ypres. There will be 20,000 square meters of floor space, a third of which will be used as a parking garage. It must also be a sustainable building, as energy-friendly as possible, says Picanol.
The building should be ready in 2024, construction has officially started today with the drilling of the first pile foundation. The children of employees were there, which is no coincidence: “they represent the next generation, and we want to build a sustainable anchorage in Ypres for the future with our new head office,” says Picanol.
