Elizabeth Debicki took on the role of Princess Diana in the fifth season of “The Crown”. With the angular facial features, the short, blonde bob and the skeptical look from below, she embodies the public’s favorite almost exactly. The first images of the sixth and final season of the Netflix series have now been published, which will revolve around the death of Charles’ ex-wife and its impact on the British royal family.
The photos show not only Lady Di, but also her sons William and Harry, who were played at a young age by Rufus Kampa and Fflyn Edwards and in later years by Ed McVey and Luther Ford. The young princes, who always seem to be dressed in stylish polo shirts and chinos, stand next to their mother, who is dressed in pink, partly playfully and partly well-mannered. The photo collection also features her father Prince Charles (now King Charles III), played by Dominic West, as well as portraits of Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II and Salim Daw as Mohammed Al Fayed.

The final season of the drama series will be divided into two parts, covering the years 1997 to 2005. The first part contains four episodes and will be available to stream on Netflix from November 16th. The focus is on the relationship between Diana and the Egyptian entrepreneur Dodi Al-Fayed (Khalid Abdalla) until they both died in the car accident in Paris in 1997.
The following part, which will finally start on December 14th and consists of six more episodes, will look at how Prince William tries to find his way back to life after the death of his mother and his romance with Kate Middleton (played by Meg Bellamy). blossoms. The wedding of Charles and Camilla (Olivia Williams) will also be shown in the coming season.
